Christopher "CJ" Nelson is a Branch Manager and Mortgage Loan Officer at EPiQ Lending. He has years of experience in various aspects of lending with a distinctive ability to assist clients in completing large financial transactions within stringent time restraints. As a highly talented professional and performance driven individual, CJ started his career at Amerifirst and over 8 years perfected his skillset and industry knowledge and quickly became a top producer in the company and ranked in the top 1% in the Country. He became known as the "Go To Guy" to solve issues and get the deal done as he constantly studies the changing market. CJ recently decided to continue his career with EPiQ Lending to be able to offer the most competitive products and interest rates to the clients he works with. Christopher has developed strong backgrounds in all standard real estate mortgage products, Government loans like FHA, USDA, VA financing and Reverse Mortgage; as well as conventional, high balance and jumbo loans. He has originated mortgages for owner-occupied home buyers and investors, tenant buyers, and credit challenged individuals. He practices a streamlined and intuitive approach, which rests on efficiency, and astute problem solving. As every client may have a unique scenario that may not fit in the box of standard mortgage products, CJ has become an expert in multiple Specialty Loan Products like "Bank Statement Income Calculation" "Asset Depletion" "DSCR" (using the rental property income to qualify) and even "Fix and Flip" Loans. He effectively evaluates, and recommends customized real estate loans for his clients specific needs. Christopher also blends his deep understanding of bond markets and ability to accurately gauge the direction of interest rates in helping new and repeat homeowners buy their dream home at a price they can afford. His major strength is his unique ability to maintain excellent customer service even in the most challenging situations, which has earned him several commendations and a high reputation within the industry. Christopher is ambitious, charismatic and self-motivated, always bringing his energy, knowledge and commitment of excellence to accomplish his aspirations.
